Nice basic map, but I would suggest a gridless version as well.

    Thanks for clarifying.

Apparently you were still uploading when I looked at the new items, and hadn't yet set the usage indicator. Thanks for taking care of that, and sorry for jumping the gun.

    Nice maps btw!

Clarification Yes, they are my own creations. The description might be confusing, as they can be used for commercial products but they are not directly from those. This basically means, the castle shares a similar layout, but has completely been recreated from scratch and only shares the motive / theme. A lot of the current DnD 5 material only has simple maps for the DM (if any), which are not meant to be shown to the players - this offers an alternative.

Could you also please elaborate in which way I didn't follow the upload instructions? All the maps have the usage field, keywords and so on filled out I thought?

Are these your own creations? You mention that they're from a commercial starter set. If they're not your creations, they need to be removed, or you need to provide proof that you have permission to post them.

You also haven't followed the Uploading instructions

Snow-free version?? Would you happen to have a snow-free version of these rooftops? I am planning an "outdoors at an estate" conflict, and these would be GREAT, but it's not snowy in game ;)

Had to look up what the sticky-out bit is at the back of the turret. Turns out to be a crudely stuck on bit of spaced armour, possibly also acting as a counter-balance for the extra front armour. T-55 Enigma (not an official name), used by Iraqi Brigade commanders had appliqué armour on turrets and hulls composed of several layers of spaced armour plates enclosed in steel boxes. It was successful at defeating shaped charge warheads during the battle of Khafji 1991, where one unit is reported to have survived several hits from MILAN missiles before being dispatched by a helicopter (Wiki).

I actually like the sparseness. Too many maps have unmovable objects which would likely be moved/used by player characters during an adventure. Or, the objects might not fit the scenario and the GM would have to say "Just ignore the fully laid-out 12-course dinner on the table..."

Let the GMs add their own objects, I say. ;)
