How do I upload gallery items?

From the main gallery page, navigate to the album appropriate to the type of map or object you wish to upload. Once inside the album, click the Add Item link on the left Gallery Navigation bar. From there you will be prompted to upload one or more files. If you enter information into the Caption fields, it will be applied to the images you upload. Once you have uploaded your images. Edit each one individually by clicking Edit Photo in the left navigation bar, and provide more complete titles and descriptions.

While editing you also need to specify the Usage restrictions for your item. click the Custom Fields tab and choose Personal Only or Personal and Commercial for the item. You may also add additional usage restrictions or requirements in the item Description, which displays at the top of the page when the item is viewed.

File Formats: Preferred formats are JPG or PNG images. If you have a lot of small related items to upload, consider ZIPping them and adding them as one item. If you use this method, create an image to use as a thumbnail, and Edit your item to add that thumbnail after it's been uploaded. you may also link to an image on a web server elsewhere as the main image for your zipped item. Use the image link button while editing the description on the itemin order to add an image. Please keep the main image size to around 640x480 for promo images of this sort. If you're uploading an image and not a zip, the size isn't restricted.
