Getting Gallery to recognize CC map files

Any way to recognize CC map files as being CC map files vs "unknown". Is there a config file somewhere that you can add ".fcw = Campaign Cartographer File" into? JP uploaded one and was wondering if the unknown designation couldn't be fixed. Obviously without some kind of external tool a thumbnail can't be generated from it but if it could be correctly identified it would be nice.

On that subject I tried to add a thumbnail for his CC map but the Custom Thumbnail field on the Edit Photo page has a browse button but no upload button.

I'll see if I can add the .FCW extension.

As for the thumbnail, it would get uploaded when you save the changes. So browse to the thumbnail, and then make any other changes to the image attributes, then save.

Hmmm. Tried that. Twice. :)

I'll go look again...

...a brief time later.

And so when it says, JPEG file, it means JPEG file. heh

I just never use anything but PNG anymore and expect everyone else to do the same. :)

I added the fcw extension in and associated a default thumbnail (just a quickie, I'll make a better one later). But they still show as "unknown" when you click to it. You can still download it though. And the item doesn't show in the New Images block on the right for some reason.

I posted on the Gallery2 forum for assistance.

Well jp's village map is named with an _ (underscore) instead of a period so his won't match anything. I assume he did that because it was the only way he could upload it.

I don't have any CC files of my own to try.

Will probably have to delete it and have it re-uploaded, but first I'd rather see if the Gallery2 people can offer any insight.

Do you want me to delete it so you can upload the right file?
