Man, this poll is old! Steel, you must be up there in age since this poll was started in 1970! LOL

Lol, says 12/31/1969 for me. Dunno how that happened.

I use a blank shell and add what I need as I need it, but I enjoy the completed maps to give me ideas or pointers.
True. If you're creating something for publication you'd maybe want more detail. For GMing the game, however, it seems most want a map devoid of movable objects, to be placed manually when needed.

So, is it safe to assume that you like maps? ;)

Hmmmmm I usually make my maps completely myself, but i get most of my artwork from this site! This site is really great, thanks for the art all of you awesome contributors! Question for all of you people who have posted tons of stuff...Particularly Steel Rat....-HOW DO YOU HAVE THE TIME TO MAKE ALL YOUR AWESOME STUFF????
Just noticed last post on this poll is from 2008......does that mean i'm a bit late? lol
He is always waiting to kill you.
Except when a yankees game is on.
Lol, well, I don't have much time of late, which is why I haven't added much in the last 6 months.
Oh, and don't forget to set the usage indicator for your recent uploads. A couple were missing this important setting.

Just the shell is nice when you plan to do a very customized, elaborate setting, I think. On the other hand, when you just want to do a quick and dirty little adventure, maybe even a one-shot thingy, a map with static elements is very handy. As has been said before, you can get inspired by it.
I only dislike maps that come with things that actually should move (creatures, for instance), but don't, as they are practically drawn into the map.
Also, thanks for this great site!
You're quite welcome, Angelus.

Yeah! I didn't know which to vote for, as I first wanted the specific maps for the Rusty Dragon, and the Hagfish, as I am running those adventures now. I run adventures far later than they come out, as there is a lot of content that doesn't appear until much later, fleshing out the surroundings. For example, the miniatures for some of the NPC's and monsters for the Runelords are just coming out now, some even too late for my very late campaign.
This site is a dream come true for these type of things, but I also think some of it will be useful in the shell form, if I have time to learn how to easily put objects in myself, if I start running something in the RPGtonight.
Great Job! I have only looked at 25% of the maps, and less of the objects so far, but I'll be back as time allows.
Thanks!
