The Stumble Inn

In Middle Earth, along the Old Dwarvish Road deep in Mirkwood, there is a town called Buella.

And in this town is an old keep, and in the peaceful years following the death of Smaug and the destruction of the Orcish armies at the Battle of Five Armies, the current owner now uses the place as an Inn.

The name comes from the stumble steps that are part of it's defensive strategies.

The steps are placed at irregular height and width, forcing an advancing enemy to carefully negotiate the steps all the while being fired upon from archer and slingers above.

I use it as an Inn but alternatively it could be a keep or small castle, or mansion
