Editing map descriptions.

Well, the Gallery software is intended to allow users to have their own albums, however I chose to not do it that way, no knowing that the owner of an image uploaded to a system album would not then be able to edit the attributes of that image. The only way to give edit capability is to give it to everyone.

Now, while at first thought this might be something you'd NOT want to do, in truth it would make it more like a Wiki site, where all users can edit all pages, each keeping the other in check.

Obviously we would all need to be alert to trolls and spammers who go through the trouble of registering in order to spam. But I'm prepared to take that chance. I think something like this would make this a true community site.

Assuming you have daily backups of the site, I think the risk is fairly minimal. It wouldn't bother me if others could edit the descriptions on maps I upload. Gnu knows that anything I write could undoubtably be made better. :)

That's two votes in favor. FYI, I've changed the permission for Fantasy Maps already, so Phergus you should be able to edit the description, keywords, etc for your image now. I'm making the changes to the rest of the albums now.
