Dundjinni Startup Woes

Folks:

Seeing as how the Dundjinni forums are down, I find myself in a bind. I have a registered version of Dundjinni 1.05. I installed it on my Windows XP machine (after a very long hiatus) and the Map Items are not showing up on the Map Items window, nor on the "Pick" list. I have patched up to 1.07 with no effect. Uninstalled and reinstalled 1.05 with no luck either. Here is a screen shot:

Any clues? Has anyone else run into this issue?

There are a few things that

There are a few things that might cause this (but I'm not an expert on the subject).
User Account Control on XP can interfere with proper installation. Turn it off before installing DJ.
If you have a Demo version of DJ on your computer, it has to be unistalled before installing DJ.
But my best bet on the likely culprit is Java Version 6. DJ 1.05 only works with Java 5, even if you
upgrade to 1.07. You can uninstall Java 6, and reinstall Java 5 and that's what worked for me.

OR

When the DJ forums finally come back on line, contact the store and ask about getting the full install
to DJ 1.07. Upgrading from 1.05 using the patch is not the same.
