Huzzah! Resources!

So I'm new at this. Very new. Yeah, sure, I played D&D 3.x, well versed in the World of Darkness, but I'll be soon popping my D&D 4e and DM'ing cherry all in one go. Yes, the group's resident rules lawyer will be taking up the mantle of designing a campaign for his fellow players while still learning the system himself, but there's more!

Now you're probably thinking to yourself "What more can he do? What daunting task could he also be burdened with?" Well the design, fabrication and funding for a do-it-yourself interactive whiteboard table, complete with video conferencing (via skype) for proper face to face roleplaying with players abroad.

Ah, and my dearly beloved MapTool. I knew at first sight (last week) that we would be destined to be together forever, siring many a dungeon with adventures a plenty. Alas, I do not yet know how to utilize you properly, blindly fiddling with your settings and tools to brutally hack out the necessities of our relationship. Yet we shall persevere, until I can quickly satiate my longing for dungeon crawling goodness. Thankfully, there is RPG Mapshare to supplement my curiosity in you. With tiles, tokens and objects abound, our journey through the pages of the Beach Wizards will be quite enjoyable.

** On a more serious note, if anyone has any advice on either of these new things (D&D 4e, Dungeonmastering, using Maptool, Interactive Whiteboard Tables, Integrating Skype into D&D) it would be greatly appreciated. **
